GGAF Updates and Highlights in this Month's Issue of The Ambassador

May 20, 2023 It gives us immense pleasure to share the remarkable news of our latest campaigns in Kenya! Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have supported not one but two campaigns in the past six weeks. It is truly heartwarming to see the impact we have made on the lives of young women.

We are thrilled to share all the incredible news of our recent campaigns in Kenya! Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have been able to support not one but two campaigns in the past six weeks. It is truly heartwarming to see the impact that we have made on the lives of young women across the African continent. The Darren Hart Foundation, along with members of GGAF, were instrumental in making this happen. More than 500 girls have received sanitary pads along with hygiene education.

Lack of access to sanitary pads is a significant issue. This is a problem that affects so many young women, and it is something that we are passionate about tackling head-on. We understand how important it is for these young women to go to school without fear or embarrassment and without infections from using rags, and we are dedicated to making this a reality.

That's why we are so proud to say that we have been able to supply reusable pads to these young women. This may seem small, but it can make a huge difference in their lives. With these pads, they no longer worry about missing school or feeling ashamed. They can go about their lives with confidence and dignity, knowing they have the support they need.

I cannot express enough gratitude for our sponsors and their unwavering support.

Thanks to them, we can continue making a positive impact on the lives of others. We will continue to work tirelessly towards making the world a better place for all, one campaign at a time. We have the opportunity to work with The Darren Hart Foundation and implement a reusable sanitary pad bank where vulnerable women, especially widows, can learn production skills. This will not only help the young girls and women living in the slum areas but also help those making the sanitary pads economically to better their lives for sustainable living. The total for implementing this is USD $2,500, which will help cover the cost of equipment, material, and a skilled facilitator to teach the women the process. We need your help in realizing the project. GGAF and The Darren Hart Foundation appreciate any amount. Please help by donating at: https://www.globalgoodwillambassadors.org/menstrual-pad-campaign

The May 2023 issue of The Ambassador is available at https://www.globalgoodwillambassadors.org/the-ambassador This GGAF and MBIMB magazine, published by Lisa Jones & Chrissy Sykes, brings you inspiring humanitarian work being done worldwide and pressing issues our world faces.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month END THE STIGMA, RAISE AWARENESS Mental health disorders can manifest in many forms, ranging from mild anxiety and depression to severe conditions such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. These conditions can significantly impact an individual's quality of life, affecting their ability to work, study, and maintain relationships. If left untreated, mental health conditions can worsen, leading to long-term disability and even suicide.

To address global mental health issues, it is essential to promote awareness and understanding of mental health conditions. This includes providing education about the signs and symptoms of mental illness and available resources for those who may be struggling. It is also essential to erase the stigma surrounding mental health disorders by promoting open dialogue and acceptance of those who suffer from them.

Mental Health Awareness Month provides an important opportunity to increase awareness and understanding of mental health issues. Mental health is a global issue that affects individuals of all ages, genders, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We must work towards reducing stigma and increasing access to resources and support for those who need it. By doing so, we can improve the lives of millions of people worldwide who are affected by mental health conditions.
